BFL CANADA is looking for a Broking Assistant in Real Estate for its Vancouver or Langley Office!

As a member of our Real Estate division you will be responsible to provide assistance to the Marketing Team with respect to Residential Program and non - program risks. If you're looking for a dynamic work environment, keep reading

Your day as a Broking Assistant

  • Provide ongoing administrative support to the Marketing Team
  • Assist with weekly and monthly bordereaux
  • Update internal software system & notify team members of new claims
  • Responsible for monthly renewal submissions to Markets
  • Process instructions for Appraisals TIV's including Underwriter approval
  • Process instructions for accounting discrepancies & correct billing errors
  • Forward missing policy documents to Underwriters as required
  • Authorize miscellaneous endorsements & instructions
  • Assist in the ongoing organization of marketing data
  • Follow BFL policies and procedures, including security and quality procedures, as set out currently and as amended from time to time
  • Other miscellaneous duties and special projects as required.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Level 1 License
  • Extensive working knowledge of Excel (Intermediate or above)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word
  • Energetic and flexible
  • Experience with EPIC is an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrated excellence in time management
  • Detail oriented

The expected salary for this role ranges from $55,000 to $65,000. Annual salary will be determined by factors including prior experience, location, business segment, and relevance of the candidate's skills to the role.
