Job Title: Corporate Paralegal
Location: Head Office - Winnipeg (On Site)
Reporting to the VP, General Counsel and Secretary ("General Counsel"), the Corporate Paralegal is responsible for the overall compliance and day-to-day management of G3's privacy compliance programs including PIPEDA, anti-spam legislation (CASL), as well as other compliance and legal requirements including, but not limited to, records management, access to information legislation and supply chain due diligence reporting.
This role also assists and supports the General Counsel in complex project-related legal and related matters such as due diligence requirements for acquisition or disposition of G3 assets; review or creation of real estate leases, non-disclosure agreements and other legal agreements and documents, manage information requests from governmental agencies and regulatory bodies; ensures all required corporate filings are completed in a timely fashion and provides assistance on departmental financial management and general administrative support.
This role is also expected to take primary carriage of selected legal matters as directed by the General Counsel such as creation/review of NDAs, certain litigation matters, real estate leases and simple legal agreements and contracts.
