We are looking for a Paralegal to join our team in our Montreal office!

As a Paralegal, you will be responsible for assisting our lawyers with various legal tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of the legal department.

Your day as a Paralegal

  • Conduct legal research on assigned topics, analyzing case law, legislation, and legal resources.
  • Support lawyers with respect to litigation, corporate, contractual, and regulatory matters.
  • Prepare legal documents (such as contracts, affidavits, and pleadings) following established formats and procedures.
  • Draft legal correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal matters.
  • Organize and summarize case documents and evidence for legal proceedings.
  • Prepare legal exhibits and presentations for courtroom presentations or meetings.
  • Assist lawyers with case preparation tasks such as conducting document discoveries and preparing legal arguments.

Our ideal candidate

  • 3 to 5 years' experience as a Paralegal in a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Diploma in legal studies, Paralegal certificate is a strong asset.
  • Bilingual with strong verbal and written communication skills in French and in English as the candidate will be required to interact in English with stakeholders (colleagues and clients) outside Quebec.
  • Strong experience with the Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel as well as Legal Research tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
  • Autonomous and able to work as part of a team and with others throughout the organization.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Client-focused and dedicated to providing high quality service.
  • Discretion and professionalism.
